Ian Wright has praised Tottenham Hotspur on Twitter for their performance against Manchester United, but he was not pleased with the commentary on Sky Sports.

The Arsenal legend believes that Tottenham played United “off the park” at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Sunday evening.

Spurs got the better of United 6-1, with the home team playing with 10 men for most of the match after Anthony Martial was dismissed on 28 minutes.

Sky Sports were covering the match live this evening, and Martin Tyler was doing the commentary and United legend Gary Neville was on co-commentary duty.

Wright was not pleased that there was a lot of talk about United’s summer transfer activity, and not enough praise for the way Spurs were playing.

Stats

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Old Trafford on Sunday evening, hosts United had 38% of the possession, took five shots of which two were on target, and earned two corners, according to BBC Sport.

Visitors Tottenham had 62% of the possession, took 22 shots of which eight were on target, and earned four corners, according to BBC Sport.
