Ian Wright has taken to Twitter to react after hearing how Arsenal helped a struggling fan during the 2-0 Carabao Cup win over Leeds.

What’s the story?

Well, one fan tweeted about his experience at the Emirates Stadium last night, in which he attended with his autistic son.

The supporter, named Dave, wrote that he decided to leave as he could see his son wasn’t going to get used to the noise, and was having a hard time.

On their way out, a steward stopped them to ask what the problem was, before guiding them to a sensory room designed for disabled supporters.

In what is a truly heartwarming story, the supporter admitted that the 2-0 win over Leeds then ended up being a memorable night.

You can see how Wright reacted to the feelgood story below.

It’s great to hear that Arsenal have measures in place to make football as inclusive as possible for everyone.

Also, we hope the Gunners can somehow track down the steward, as they went above and beyond to help.

Like Arsenal, every club should have sensory room

In our view, this should become mandatory for every stadium in England.

Why should those with disabilities miss out on watching the beautiful game live?

The likes of Manchester United, Manchester City, Watford, West Ham and Sunderland are known to have sensory rooms.

We’re sure some other clubs do too, although it’s far from a common feature for a football stadium, which we believe is wrong.

Wheelchair accessibility is in place across pretty much every ground, so why should fans with autism and other disabilities not be considered?

Hopefully, the Premier League will make it mandatory for all clubs partaking in England’s top-flight to have a sensory room installed.
