Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur will lose to Manchester City, predicts Ian Wright.

West Ham defender Tony Gale challenges Ian Wright of Arsenal during the FA Premiership match at Highbury on April 30, 1994 in London, England.

Arsenal legend Ian Wright has predicted in The Sun that Manchester City will win against Tottenham Hotspur this weekend.

City will take on Tottenham at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday evening.

Pep Guardiola’s side will head into the match as favourites and in great form, having won their last 15 Premier League games.

Spurs have recovered from their recent slump in form and are in good form at the moment.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side will fancy their chances of picking up at least a point against City, but Arsenal legend Wright does not think that the North London outfit will get anything from the match.

The former Arsenal striker believes that City will run out 3-0 winners and has also backed Leroy Sane to score the opening goal.

The 21-year-old Germany international, who can operate as a winger or as an attacking midfielder, has scored six goals and provided six assists in 11 Premier League starts for City so far this season.

Wright wrote in The Sun: “Spurs have players who are fit and can score in the likes of Harry Kane and Heung-min Son but on current form you have to see this as a City win.

“Spurs will be dangerous on the break with Kane and Son but that is all they can hope for. They’ll try to play on the front foot and that could be their undoing.

“I can see City laying down yet another marker here and running out 3-0 winners at 9/1 and it’s a bit of a lucky dip at City at the moment but I fancy Sane to net the opener at 5/1.”
