Liverpool are set to host Sam Allardyce’s Everton side at Anfield on Sunday.

Everton have endured an abject campaign to date, but do have some momentum heading into the Merseyside derby.
Everton have won their last two matches, with Sam Allardyce getting off to a positive start at Goodison Park.
However, Wright fears that a match against Liverpool could expose Everton, as Jurgen Klopp’s side have so much attacking talent.

“I think Sam has come in and in the first game they got the win, but the way Liverpool are attacking, I think that will be a really tough ask,” Wright said, when asked if Everton have it in them to get a result at Anfield.
“I think Liverpool are going to beat them.”
Liverpool have shown signs of weakness at the back, but they have been scintillating going forward in recent weeks.
Liverpool swept aside Brighton in their most recent Premier League contest, to strengthen their claim for a top four spot.

Everton are taking the derby so seriously that they are keeping some of their key players back on Merseyside in the week, despite the team having a game against Apollon Limassol in the Europa League.
Everton are already out of the European competition, and Allardyce does not want to risk any of his experienced players’ fitness in that contest.
