Arsenal will face Aston Villa in the final of the FA Cup at London’s Wembley Stadium today.
Ian Wright has told BT Sport that Theo Walcott should start for Arsenal against Aston Villa in the FA Cup final at London’s Wembley Stadium today.
The Arsenal legend has picked England international forward Walcott as part of an attacking line-up which includes Olivier Giroud and Alexis Sanchez.
This is the Gunners’ starting line-up that Wright wants to see in the final:
David Ospina
Hector Bellerin – Per Mertesacker – Laurent Koscielny – Nacho Monreal
Aaron Ramsey – Francis Coquelin
Mesut Ozil
Theo Walcott – Olivier Giroud – Alexis Sanchez
Arsenal fans will agree with most of Wright’s selections, although many will want Santi Cazorla to start.
The Spain international midfielder has been one of the best players for the North London outfit this season.
Despite being an attacking midfielder, Cazorla has played well when deployed in central midfield and has forged a strong partnership with Francis Coquelin.
Wales international Aaron Ramsey is a brilliant footballer, but perhaps it would be best for the Gunners if Cazorla starts against the Villans today.
