Arsenal legend Ian Wright said on BBC Radio 5 live 606 on Sunday evening (August 21, 2016) that West Ham United should be aiming to finish in the top five of the Premier League this season.
“I think West Ham definitely can, with the quality they have got in their squad, should be aiming for top six, top five whatever,” said the former Arsenal and West Ham striker when asked how far the Hammers can push this season.

West Ham were in contention of a top-four finish in the Premier League last season.
The Hammers eventually ended up seventh in the league table, but the London outfit picked up only four fewer points than Manchester City, who clinched the fourth and final Champions League spot.
It will be hard for Slaven Bilic’s side to repeat the heroics of last season, mainly due to the way the title contenders have strengthened themselves in the summer transfer window.

Manchester United, City and Chelsea are the top three contenders for the Premier League title, while Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur will fancy their chances.
Liverpool will be eyeing the Champions League places, and perhaps even Everton could give it a go.
A top-six finish would be a brilliant achievement for the Hammers this season.
West Ham lost their opening game of the Premier League season 2-1 to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, but they got the better of Bournemouth 1-0 at the London Stadium in the league at the weekend.
