Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge is struggling for game time this season.

Arsenal legend and 33-capped England international Ian Wright has offered his opinion on Daniel Sturridge’s situation at Liverpool, suggesting that the striker should look for a move away from the club in January, as quoted by the Metro.
The former Chelsea and Manchester City hitman has struggled to break his way into Jürgen Klopp’s starting XI so far this season, with the impressive form of Reds trio Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Philippe Coutinho making his task all the harder.
With only four Premier League starts to his name during the 2016/17 campaign, the England international must be growing increasingly frustrated with his situation at Anfield, and Wright offered his thoughts on what Sturridge needs to do, as quoted by the Metro:
“When you look at it (Coutinho, Firmino and Mane’s international duty commitments), if Daniel Sturridge – who has just scored for England and is buzzing – can’t get in the team when those lads have done so many miles. He’s got to start looking at what’s going on for himself in January.”

There are plenty of potential suitors out there for the 27-year-old, but his poor track record of succumbing to injuries on a regular basis will most probably make potentially interested clubs weary of splashing the cash on someone who has proven to be so unreliable from a fitness perspective.
Something has to give though, and if Sturridge’s situation at Anfield hasn’t changed by January, both he and Liverpool will have a big decision to make.
