Ian Wright has told The Sun Football Podcast that Arsenal should make sure they go out and sign Kieran Tierney from Celtic this summer.
Tierney is undoubtedly one of the brightest prospects currently coming through in the Scottish Premiership, having already established himself as a key man for the Hoops less than two years after he made his debut for the club.
And after watching the 19-year-old, Wright has urged his former club to make a move for Tierney during the summer transfer window.
“Tierney looks really impressive,” he told The Sun Football Podcast.

“I saw Arsenal were linked with him.
“He was one of the players on Arsene Wenger’s wishlist.
“He looks pretty useful.”

Neither Nacho Monreal or Kieran Gibbs have really managed to take full advantage of the chances that they have received at left-back in the Gunners team this season, having often been under par, and the latter’s contract expires at the end of next season (via transfermarkt), so it surely makes sense to consider potential replacements for the pair.
While Tierney’s lack of experience and the fact that he has only played in Scotland may put a few Arsenal fans off, the teenager is already an international and has experience competing against Europe’s best in the Champions League, and is certainly giving plenty of indications that he has the potential to impress at the highest level.
