Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur won against Liverpool in the Premier League at the weekend.

Tottenham got the better of Liverpool 4-1 at the Wembley Stadium in London in the Premier League on Sunday evening.
As reported by Goal.com, there were 80,827 spectators at the match between Spurs and the Reds.

The atmosphere at Wembley for Tottenham’s matches has been criticised at times this season, but former Arsenal striker Wright was impressed with how things were on Sunday evening, stating that the atmosphere was “brilliant”.
Wright said on Match of the Day 2 on BBC One on Sunday night (10:30pm, October 22, 2017): “I think coming there the team the size of Liverpool, 80,000 people – I think it’s a record for the Premier League now – the atmosphere in there was absolutely brilliant. I think they thrived off of that.”

Tottenham are playing wonderful football at the moment and are very much in the race for the Premier League title.
The North London outfit are currently third in the standings with 20 points from nine matches, five points behind leaders Manchester City.
