The 24-year-old has a fan in Arsenal legend Ian Wright anyway.
Ian Wright has told a Facebook Q&A on BBC Radio 5 Live that the “brilliant” Sead Kolasinac could be a major asset for Arsenal.
The former Schalke ace was one of his team’s better defenders in Arsenal’s 4-3 win over Leicester City in the Premier League curtain raiser on Friday.
The 24-year-old, who scored in the Community Shield win over Chelsea last week, also set up Danny Welbeck for the Gunners’ second goal against the Foxes.

And club legend Wright certainly likes what he has seen from the big defender so far.
He said on a Facebook Q&A on BBC Radio 5 Live: “He’s brilliant. I think he could be a real top signing for us, and so could Lacazette.
“God forbid any of those two got injured or we’d be back to the same squad.”
Beating Leicester was a huge let-off for Arsenal who, as always, looked great going forward and shaky as anything at the back.
Kolasinac and Alexandre Lacazette are Arsene Wenger’s only two summer recruits so far, and lord knows that must change if the French manager wants to deliver a first Premier League title since 2004.
Worryingly, some of the talk surrounding Thomas Lemar and Riyad Mahrez has gone cold over the past week, so it remains to be seen exactly who Wenger will bring in – if anyone.
