Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur played out a 1-1 draw at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
Speaking on BT Sport, Arsenal legend Ian Wright has expressed his disappointment at the Gunners’ performance in the draw with Tottenham Hotspur.
Arsenal hosted their fierce rivals at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday in the first North London derby of the season.
It proved to be an interesting affair, to say the least, with both sides going on the offensive and sharing 25 shots between them in total.
It ended all square, though, as a Harry Kane penalty levelled the scores after Kevin Wimmer’s own goal.

A point was a fair result but Wright was disappointed by the manner in which his former team had performed.
“Spurs shook them up with the way they played and they did seem like they weren’t on it. They weren’t quite as sharp,” he told BT Sport.
“It is one of the big games that people will look at and say it’s one of the big games and they haven’t won it. It’s a bit disappointing because you want Arsenal to lay down a marker.”

Despite neither side coming away with all three points at the Emirates, both sides remain firmly in the title race.
Arsenal are now fourth in the table with 24 points to their name, just two behind league leaders Liverpool. Tottenham are a place behind them in fifth with 21 points.
Given the way this league has gone so far, that means neither are out of the race yet, with many more twists and turns set to come before the campaign is over.
