The Arsenal man has been linked with a big-money switch to Everton.

Ian Wright has admitted on Twitter that he loves Arsenal winger Theo Walcott, but believes the North Londoners should sell if Everton offer £30 million.

Everton are, according to The Mirror, weighing up a £30 million offer for the 28-year-old.

The England international has not quite hit the heights expected of him since joining Arsenal as a 17-year-old in 2006, leading to criticism from fans.

And although Gunners legend Wright claims that he will “always love him”, the former striker believes his former club can’t possibly turn down that sort of money.

Wright is spot-on. Walcott is a good player, and a decent goalscorer, but he is never in a million years worth that sort of figure and Arsenal should certainly accept if Everton offer.

The former Southampton youth netted 10 Premier League goals in 28 outings last season but, being 28 and a speed merchant, he will only get less and less effective.
