West Ham United reportedly want former Arsenal and Manchester City star Samir Nasri.
According to The Guardian, West Ham are interested in signing Nasri on a free transfer, but the Frenchman will have to prove his fitness.
The 31-year-old, who has not played for months, is allowed to train with any club from this month, but he will not be able to sign for the Hammers until January, according to the report.
Former Arsenal and West Ham striker Wright has given his take on the Hammers’ reported interest in Nasri.
Wright said about Nasri to West Ham speculation on The Monday Night Club show on BBC Radio 5 Live on Monday evening (7:05pm, November 12, 2018): “I think if we are going to talk about the quality of the player, I think that he is somebody if they got him fit, he has got the kind of quality and ability.
“We are talking about somebody who can make a difference in respect of assists. So if you got him right and he was fit enough, would he make a difference to West Ham? Probably would, yeah.”

Nasri worked with West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini at City, and there is no doubt that the Frenchman still has a lot of quality.
The former Marseille attacking midfielder is not the player he was at Arsenal or City, but if he can regain full match fitness, then he could be an asset for West Ham for the second half of the season.
