Ian Wright has told Wrighty’s House Podcast that Arsenal’s ‘whole fanbase’ is talking about Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang playing down the middle for their clash against Leeds.

In previous times, Aubameyang dancing his way past players on the left-hand side wasn’t a problem because Arsenal were winning games and he was scoring goals.

But now, his goals have dried out and the form of those in North London has been pretty indifferent. Not forgetting that the likes of Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah aren’t exactly pulling up trees as the main striker.

As a result, Wright urged Mikel Arteta to do ‘something chaotic’ and he seemingly agreed that a certain Gabon star needs to change potions.

“So, Mikel, the whole fanbase, at the moment, is talking about Aubameyang down the middle,” said Wright. “We know the counter-attack. The way we played against United with Partey and Elneny.

“Seeing Partey get in there. Is there a space for Joe Willock? – we have got to start doing something chaotic.”

Arsenal are going into this match having being thumped 3-0 by Aston Villa at the Emirates, whilst Leeds have lost back-to-back matches and conceded eight goals during that period.

It seems as though that there will be goals in this one and it wouldn’t be a surprise if either side were to suffer a heavy defeat given the unknown nature in which they play.

Either way, it’s set to be an entertaining encounter, with a certain Nketiah hoping to start and push his former side further down the table.
