Arsenal legend Ian Wright has told the Premier League Show that he thinks Arsene Wenger should be given three more years at the club.
The Gunners boss celebrated 20 years in charge of the Gunners last week, becoming the second longest serving manager in the Premier League era.
He is into the final year of his current deal at the club, with his contract expiring next summer.
So far all indications have been that he will depart the club, with no new deal having been agreed as yet.

Indeed, large numbers of Arsenal fans are keen to see their long-serving boss depart after growing frustrated with the Frenchman in recent years.
Wright is not part of that group, though, and instead says he thinks Wenger deserves more time in charge. He told the Premier League Show:
“I would give him another three years, simply because I think he’s put a lot of faith into a lot of squads who have let him down miserably.”
“This is what I say to Arsenal fans. Be careful about how disrespectful you are to him because once he is gone you will realise, as much as it’s been barren, he’s taken the club global and changed the way people think about Arsenal.”

Whether Wenger remains at Arsenal beyond next season will likely rest on how they fare this season.
He arguably has one of his best squads in a number of years this season and should they challenge for the title, it could give him the urge to carry on.
Another title collapse like last season, though, and it would not be surprising to see Wenger call it a day and move on.
