The French winger found himself in a Twitter spat with ex-Aston Villa defender Shaun Teale.
Ian Taylor has taken to Twitter to condemn the behaviour of Aston Villa winger Charles N’Zogbia following a social media spat with the club’s former defender Shaun Teale.
Taylor described the Frenchman as an “egg” after N’Zogbia asked Teale “who have you impressed?” alongside the hashtag “Idontevenknowurname” – a tweet which prompted an angry response from Stan Collymore.
Shortly afterwards, Collymore called for the Villans to release the 29-year-old, who has been exiled from the first team since November, making two Premier League appearances this season. Collymore tweeted: “Hi @AVFCOfficial, please get rid of this fool. Pay him up and f*** him off. Cheers.”
And Taylor agreed with his former Villa teammate’s sentiments.
N’Zogbia has done little to nothing for Villa in a season which has seen their 29-year stay in England’s top flight come to a miserable end, with the club rock bottom of the Premier League season following relegation.
He was frozen out of the side completely under Remi Garde – who was sacked last month – and has fared no better under caretaker boss Eric Black.
The positive for Villa is that his contract expires in the summer.
