Ian Taylor has responded to Jack Grealish’s post on Instagram following Aston Villa’s win against Fulham on Monday evening.
Villa got the better of promoted club Fulham 3-0 away from home at Craven Cottage in London in the Premier League.
Grealish, who can play as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, scored the opening goal of the match after just four minutes.
The England international was a constant threat for the Villans and produced yet another brilliant display for Dean Smith’s side.
The 25-year-old took three shots, played two key passes, had a pass accuracy of 74.3%, took 64 touches, attempted three dribbles, and made four tackles and one interception, according to WhoScored.
Grealish has taken to Instagram to revel in the success, and former Villa star Taylor has responded to his post.
Taylor responded: “Unplayable kid.”
Meanwhile, Garth Crooks has raved about Villa central defender Tyrone Mings on BBC Sport.
The former Tottenham Hotspur and West Bromwich Albion forward was impressed with Mings’s goal and performance against Fulham and has included him in his BBC Premier League Team of the Week.
Crooks wrote on BBC Sport: “Last week it was Tyrone Mings who was creating opportunities for his team-mates to score. This week he’s among the goalscorers himself. What Mings and Villa will value from their victory over Fulham is their second consecutive clean sheet.
“The defender has come a long way since his days at Ipswich and Bournemouth, and his signing is proving to be an inspired decision.”
Manchester United legend and Sky Sports pundit Roy Keane believes that Villa will not get relegated from the Premier League at the end of the season, and has been quoted as saying by The Birmingham Mail in the build-up to Monday evening’s match: “They had a few breaks last year, but they’ve invested well over the summer They’ve spent big on a striker, we’ve seen the impact of their goalkeeper already, making a big penalty save.
“So, I think Villa will be in the bottom half, but I don’t think they’ll be in a relegation dogfight. I think they have enough quality going forward, and I think they’ve got a proper poacher, a goalscorer, I think they’ll be fine.”
