Ian Taylor has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Aston Villa’s 1-1 draw with Preston North End at the weekend.

Villa played out a 1-1 draw with Preston away from home in the Championship on Saturday.

Tammy Abraham, signed on loan from Premier League club Chelsea in the summer transfer window, put the Villans in the lead on the stroke of half time.

An own goal from Ahmed Elmohamady on 61 minutes saw Preston restore parity and earn a point from the encounter.

Villa legend Taylor was following the match, and he has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the draw for the Villans.

Villa will be disappointed that they could not win against Preston, but the Villans have to bounce back and move on.

Dean Smith’s side are ninth in the Championship table at the moment with 37 points from 25 matches, five points behind sixth-placed Derby County.

The Villans will return to action on New Year’s Day when they take on Queens Park Rangers at Villa Park in the Championship.
