Ian Taylor was impressed with Tyrone Mings’s display for Aston Villa against Tottenham Hotspur.

Ian Taylor has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Aston Villa’s defeat to Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday evening.
Villa kicked off their 2019-20 Premier League campaign with a 3-1 loss at the hands of Tottenham away from home at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
John McGinn gave the Villans the lead as early as the ninth minute, and it took Spurs until the 73rd minute to restore parity through Tanguy Ndombele.
Star striker Harry Kane scored his first in the 86th minute and added a second on 89 minutes, as Spurs won 3-1.
Villa legend Taylor was following the match, and he has praised the performance produced by Dean Smith’s side.

Taylor has also suggested that Tyrone Mings was the best player for Villa against Spurs.
The 26-year-old defender was superb at the back for the Villans and stood strong against the Tottenham attackers.
According to WhoScored, Mings provided the assist for McGinn’s goal, had a pass accuracy of 78.6%, won one header, and made two interceptions, 15 clearances and five blocks.
