Aston Villa beat Queens Park Rangers 1-0 at Villa Park yesterday evening.
Ian Taylor has praised Aston Villa striker Jonathan Kodjia for continuing his fine form against Queens Park Rangers last night.
Kodjia scored the only goal of the game, as Villa beat Rangers 1-0 in front of their own fans last night.
Steve Bruce’s side were not at their best in the contest, but they got the three points.
And Taylor was delighted with Villa’s victory – although he wishes that the match was a lot easier to watch.
Kodjia has now scored seven goals in his last seven matches, to take his total to 18 in the Championship this season.
The Ivorian was Villa’s most expensive signing last summer, but it appears to be money well spent.
Villa’s strong run of form has lifted them up the Championship table, but they are still some way back from the play off spots.
The claret and blues are nine points back from the top six, with only six games left to play this season.
