Villa got the better of Rotherham 2-0 away from home at the AESSEAL New York Stadium in the Championship.
After a goalless first half, Villa took the lead midway through the second period when Will Vaulks found the target. Jonathan Kodjia doubled the advantage for the Villans three minutes before the hour mark.
Former Villa midfielder Taylor was following the match, and he has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the win.
