Villa played out a 1-1 draw with Burton away from home at the Pirelli Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The Villans took the lead after just three minutes when Jonathan Kodjia found the target, but the home team restored parity through Lloyd Dyer just past the hour mark.
Former Villa midfielder Taylor was following the match, and he has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the final result.
Over the course of the 90 minutes at the Pirelli Stadium on Saturday afternoon, hosts Burton had 49% of the possession, took seven shots of which only one was on target, and earned eight corners, according to BBC Sport.
Visitors Villa had 51% of the possession, took 11 shots of which three were on target, and earned three corners, according to BBC Sport.
Villa are 11th in the Championship table at the moment with 58 points from 41 matches.
