
Ian Taylor has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Tyrone Mings signing a new contract with Aston Villa.
Villa have announced on their official website this afternoon that Mings has put pen to paper on a contract extension.
The 27-year-old central defender will now stay at Villa Park until 2024 at least.
Former Villa star Taylor is delighted with the news and has expressed his happiness at the decision.

Mings joined Villa on loan from Bournemouth in January 2019, and the deal was make permanent in the summer of 2019.
The England international centre-back played an important role in the Villans winning promotion from the Championship to the Premier League.
The defender was a regular for the Villans last season as well, as Dean Smith’s side avoided the dreaded drop back to the second tier of English football.
According to WhoScored, Mings made 33 appearances in the Premier League for Villa last season, scoring two goals and providing two assists in the process.
Villa will take on Sheffield United at Villa Park in the Premier League today.
