Aston Villa registered their first win of the season, defeating Norwich City 4-2 at Villa Park.

After a winless run of three matches, Aston Villa registered their first win of the 2017/18 EFL Championship season with a thumping 4-2 win over Norwich City.

Irish international, Conor Hourihane, made the headlines with an outrageous hat-trick, while debutant Keinan Davis made a solid impact on the game.

Davis had four shots during the game and maintained a 86.4% passing accuracy, according to whoscored.com.

The 19-year-old midfielder made two key passes, one of them setting up Hourihane’s first goal.

The youngster took to Twitter after the match to express his feeling about the match.

Former Aston Villa hero and now club ambassador, Ian Taylor, has praised the youngster’s performance on Twitter.

Hourihane opened the scoring in the 22nd minute of the match, and added a couple more in the second half.

The pressure was mounting on Steve Bruce following two defeats and a draw in their opening three matches, but the win here will bring the much-needed breathing space at Villa Park.
