Aston Villa won against Cardiff City in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.

Ian Taylor and Paul McGrath have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to Aston Villa’s win against Cardiff City on Saturday afternoon.

Villa returned to winning ways in the Championship with a 3-1 victory over Cardiff at Villa Park.

Albert Adomah, Jonathan Kodjia and Rudy Gestede were the scorers for the Villans.

Former Villa duo Taylor and McGrath have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the final result.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Villa Park on Saturday afternoon, hosts Villa had 57% of the possession, took 11 shots of which four were on target, and earned two corners, according to BBC Sport.

Visitors Cardiff had 43% of the possession, took eight shots of three were on target, and earned six corners, according to BBC Sport.

Villa are 11th in the Championship table at the moment with 25 points from 18 matches.

Steve Bruce’s side are four points behind Huddersfield Town, who are currently sixth in the standings and occupy the final playoff spot.

The Villans are certainly in the race for the Championship playoffs this season.
