Ian Taylor has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Aston Villa’s comfortable win against Middlesbrough on Saturday.
Villa returned to winning ways in the Championship with a 3-0 victory over Middlesbrough away from home at the Riverside Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
James Chester put Dean Smith’s side in the lead after 20 minutes, and Chelsea-owned striker Tammy Abraham doubled the advantage on 64 minutes.
Glenn Whelan wrapped up the points for Villa seven minutes from full time with the third.
Villa legend Taylor was following the match, and the former midfielder has taken to Twitter to revel in the win for the Villans.
Meanwhile, former Middlesbrough forward Bernie Slaven has admitted on Twitter that Tony Pulis’s side did not deserve to get anything from the match.
The win against Middlesbrough means that Villa are now eighth in the Championship table with 31 points from 20 matches, just three points behind sixth-placed Sheffield United.
As for Boro, Pulis’s side are currently third in the standings with 35 points from 20 games, four points behind second-placed Leeds United.
