As one of Liverpool’s greatest-ever players, Ian Rush is more than qualified to talk about Mohamed Salah’s future at Anfield.
Mohamed Salah is into the final year of his contract at Anfield and a crucial transfer decision is needed this summer.
The Egyptian winger has secured legendary status in Merseyside after firing Liverpool to glory in the Premier League and Champions League and climbing into the top five of their all-time scorer list.
But at 32 years old and with the risk of losing him for free next summer, questions are being asked of his future at the club.
He has attracted interest from the Saudi Pro League again after they bid a staggering £150million for him last summer.

Ian Rush reacts to Mohamed Salah exit rumours
A move to Saudi Arabia may tempt Salah and Liverpool may be equally tempted to cash in on him with rumours that there could be up to £100million on offer.
Arne Slot is yet to complete a signing this summer after taking over from Jurgen Klopp as manager.
When asked if he’d accept a £100million bid for Salah to leave, Ian Rush told ESPN, “For me, I’d like to see Mo Salah stay.
“He’s an asset to the team, he may not score as many goals as what he has done in recent years, but look at his assists. He seems to make more assists than goals.
“The same can be said for Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold. They are in the final year of their contracts, so it’s going to be an interesting season.
“As a Liverpool fan, I’d like to see the three of them stay.”
Mohamed Salah next season
If Slot and Liverpool do decide to keep hold of Salah then they will need him to be at his best next season.

It is crucial for the new Reds manager to hit the ground running this season to help shake the concerns around Klopp’s exit.
Salah has the potential to fire Liverpool up the league positions and take the pressure off of Slot – the Liverpool boss will hope it’s worth a £100million gamble.
