After years of skating by on his opinions, Ian Holloway seems to have come up short at Queens Park Rangers.
Ian Holloway is often regarded as a saviour in the Championship, also known as someone who is able to transform any side in the division into promotion contenders. Unfortunately, this tactic appears to be working against him at Loftus Road with the club on a downward slope following his arrival.

It appears as if the confidence he gained from the Blackpool and Palace successes have given Holloway one of the most inflated egos in football. His outlandish remarks and sense of entitlement make the 53-year-old a fairly likeable character in the media, but it’s starting to translate poorly towards his management skills.

All of this bravado needs to stop, because QPR aren’t a side that are going to be turned round overnight. They need alot of work done and Holloway making claims about how the fans will be ridiculed in the pub for a defeat is not helping anyone.
It’s all well and good trying to get the fans on board, but they need to see an end product. He of course needs to be given time in order to make something happen, but with each passing day it feels like this was the wrong move for the Englishman.
Perhaps punditry is where his future lies after all. If he wants to prove different, the R’s need a result against Derby on Wednesday night.
