Queens Park Rangers are set to make a number of additions in the January transfer window, according to Ian Holloway.

Ian Holloway has told West London Sport that he wants three new players in at Queens Park Rangers during the January transfer window.

QPR have had a quiet month so far, but Holloway is definitely looking to strengthen his squad.

And the experienced manager has suggested that there are a number of names on his wishlist this month.

“If I get the three players I’m after, I’m going to be buzzing. So watch this space,” Holloway said.

“And I might have to watch it, because we’re not exactly a cheetah out of the blocks at the minute to go and get who we want.

“We are a bit of a sloth. But we might get there. I think the tortoise won that race with the hare. So let’s see.”

QPR are already making progress with one of the three players that Holloway wants to bring in at Loftus Road, according to reports today.

West London Sport suggest that Rangers have had a bid accepted by Manchester United for Sean Goss.

Goss has never made a senior appearance for United, but has played fairly regularly for Jose Mourinho’s side at development squad level.

If the 21-year-old, who can play in central or on the left of midfield, did arrive at QPR he would add depth to Holloway’s options at Loftus Road.

QPR are currently in 17th place in the Championship table.
