Queens Park Rangers are set to take on Nottingham Forest at the weekend.
Ian Holloway has told Queens Park Rangers’ official website that he needs the Loftus Road crowd to stick with his players at the weekend.
QPR are set to face Nottingham Forest at the weekend, in what will be a crunch game for their season.
Rangers are still not technically safe from relegation, and a defeat to Forest wouldn’t be good.
Holloway’s side are under severe pressure to pick up the three points, with a great deal of frustration being felt around the London club.
QPR have lost their last six matches in succession, to slip close to the relegation zone.
And Holloway now admits that he is in desperate need of the Loftus Road crowd’s backing.
“The lads have lost a bit of confidence, and we need the crowd to help us,” he said.
“That’s all I’m asking – if you see the effort you demand, please keep on encouraging the players.
“If you don’t, you can hammer them and you can hammer me because that’s not right. But I’m telling you, they’ll be at it – and they won’t let you down.”
If QPR don’t beat Forest, they will be relying on Blackburn Rovers losing to Aston Villa.
Rangers’ final game of the season comes away against Norwich City.
