Brendan Rodgers quit Celtic for Leicester City in February.

Ian Holloway has told talkSPORT that he wanted Brendan Rodgers to be a Celtic legend.
Rodgers has been a big hit since leaving Celtic to join Leicester City in February, with the Foxes thumping Arsenal 3-0 at the King Power Stadium today.
His departure from Parkhead came out of the blue and happened in the space of three days, from when the speculation first began.
The Northern Irishman led the Hoops to back-to-back domestic trebles and was on course to do the same this season, and Holloway feels as if he should have waited until the summer.
“I’m full of praise for Brendan, but I wanted him to be famous for what he had already done. I didn’t want him to leave when he did,” he told talkSPORT.
“I wanted him to be a Celtic legend for the work he had already done and I think there would’ve been lots of clubs who would have waited for him and taken him in the summer.”
Rodgers has done okay, but have the Bhoys? Sort of.
Neil Lennon came in to steady the ship and although the style of football hasn’t blown people away, Celtic are on the brink of winning the Premiership and could reclaim the Scottish Cup too if they beat Hearts next month.
Still, it remains to be seen if even winning both competitions would be enough to see Lennon get the job on a permanent basis.
