Speaking to Sky Sports, Ian Holloway has predicted that Sheffield Wednesday and Nottingham Forest will play out a 2-2 draw at Hillsbrough on Saturday.

Yorkshire plays host to an intriguing clash this weekend as 14th in the Championship table hosts 13th in an encounter which will see both sides try to restore some pride following disappointing defeats last weekend.

Sheffield Wednesday went down 2-1 at Birmingham City last Saturday evening, whereas Philippe Montanier’s Nottingham Forest lost suffered a 2-1 home defeat by promotion-chasing Norwich City last time around.

The Reds also lost 4-0 at home to Arsenal in League Cup action on Tuesday to make Forest’s collective confidence that bit worse ahead of visiting the Owls.

That being said, Forest certainly have the firepower to do damage this weekend, having netted 16 times in eight Championship games – only Barnsley, with 19, have scored more.

But although Holloway, speaking to Sky Sports, is backing lots of goals, he suggests that nothing will separate both sides at Hillsbrough on Saturday.

“This game should be full of goals. Only Barnsley have scored more than Nottingham Forest in the league this season while Sheffield Wednesday have an array of talent in forward areas.

“I like what Philippe Montanier has got going at Forest – they’re a very attack-minded side and this might be a good time to play Wednesday, who haven’t hit full stride yet.”
