Queens Park Rangers are set to host Bristol City on Tuesday evening.
Ian Holloway has told Sky Sports that he believes Queens Park Rangers will beat Bristol City 1-0 on Tuesday evening.
QPR have failed to win any of their last five home matches in all competitions, and frustrations are rising at Loftus Road.
However, Holloway has backed QPR to respond to the pressure on them and pick up an impressive victory over Lee Johnson’s men.
“QPR haven’t won at home since the opening day and there has been some talk of a lack of atmosphere at home games recently. My old manager Gerry Francis always told us to get the crowd going at Loftus Road – they want to be entertained. They don’t just turn up and start clapping, it doesn’t work that way,” Holloway, who used to manage QPR, said.
“There is no better stadium in the world than Loftus Road, especially when it’s rocking. I could go and have my Sunday lunch there in the centre-circle. It’s like my second home after spending 10 years of my life fighting for the badge. I hope the Rs will come good on Tuesday.”
If QPR can beat Bristol City, it would arguably be their most impressive result of the season to date.
The Robins have been in fine form since the start of the season, and they look to have the potential to challenge for a play off spot this term.
Johnson’s men did lose on their latest outing against Cardiff City, but they are still in fifth position in the Championship table.
Rangers, meanwhile, drew their last match 1-1 with Reading at the weekend.
QPR are currently in 14th place in the Championship table, and sit four points outside the play off places.
