Ian Holloway praises Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves

Ian Holloway has praised Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Ruben Neves on Sky Sports.

The former Crystal Palace and Queens Park Rangers manager has been impressed with Neves.

Holloway said on Sky Sports: “Look at Neves. Who would have heard of Neves? Wolves, what a player he is, he is still only 21.”

Promising talent

Neves is one of the best young players in Europe, and the 21-year-old midfielder has established himself as an important player in Nuno’s team.

So far this season, the Portugal international midfielder has made 23 starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League for Wolves so far this season, scoring three goals and providing two assists in the process, according to WhoScored.

During the 2017-18 campaign, the 21-year-old scored six goals and provided one assist in 42 Championship matches for the Wanderers, according to WhoScored.

An imposing midfielder, Neves can only get better in the coming years, as he is only 21 years of age.

Blessed with a wide range of passing, the Portuguese will be key for Wolves in their quest to break into the top six of the Premier League in the coming years.
