Leeds United’s Ronaldo Vieira has received praise from the Queens Park Rangers boss.

Speaking to a post-match press conference via Leeds Live, QPR boss Ian Holloway has singled out Leeds United’s Ronaldo Vieira for being “different class” after his side lost 2-0 at Elland Road this afternoon.
Goals in both halves from Kemar Roofe and Kalvin Phillips ensured that Leeds finished a mixed Championship campaign on a winning note.
There were several admirable individual performances from Paul Heckingbottom’s side, but Holloway has admitted that the 19-year-old midfielder was head and shoulders above anyone else for him.
He said to a press conference via Leeds Live after the defeat: “Well done, the day belonged to Leeds. If we stay here for two weeks tomorrow, I don’t think we’ll score. I thought Vieira was a different class today.”

This was Vieira’s second full season in Leeds’ senior side and although he might not have hit the heights of last term overall, he is still an outstanding prospect for United.
At 19, Vieira, who struggled for regular football under Heckingbottom’s predecessor Thomas Christiansen earlier in the season, is only going to get a lot better and this performance was a reminder of his talent.
But he’ll have plenty of competition next term again. Phillips has finished the season just as he started it, among the goals, while Adam Forshaw, a £4.5 million January signing, will also be more of a threat next season.
