Queens Park Rangers were beaten 1-0 by Derby County yesterday.

Ian Holloway has praised both Grant Hall and Jordan Cousins for their performances in Queens Park Rangers’ midfield yesterday.

QPR were beaten 1-0 by in-form Derby County at Loftus Road last night, in what was a close contest.

In the end, a piece of quality from Tom Ince proved to be the difference between the two sides.

But Holloway still saw some positives from his Rangers’ side’s display, with Hall and Cousins earning credit.

QPR have struggled since Holloway took charge, and they have now lost their last four matches.

The R’s have slipped down to 18th place in the Championship table, and they are now in danger of being dragged into a relegation battle.

As things stand, QPR are just three points above the bottom three – with concerns growing about the direction their season is heading in.

QPR are next in action at the weekend, when they take on Aston Villa in what looks set to be another tough test for Holloway’s men.
