Ian Holloway has spoken highly of Aston Villa winger Yannick Bolasie on the EFL show on Quest TV.
The former Queens Park Rangers manager was impressed with the performance of Bolasie against Middlesbrough in the Championship at the weekend.
The 29-year-old winger, who joined the Villans on loan from Premier League club Everton in the summer transfer window, played well in Dean Smith’s side’s 3-0 win at the Riverside Stadium on Saturday.
The DR Congo international took two shots, provided one assist, had a pass accuracy of 86.4%, won three headers, and made two interceptions, and played five key passes, according to WhoScored.
According to WhoScored, Bolasie has scored two goals and provided three assists in 377 minutes of Championship football Villa so far this season.
Holloway said about Bolasie on the EFL show on Quest TV: “It was his first start last Wednesday, and he is so sharp. If he gets back to form, like he is, then they are going to be starting a right march.”
Tammy Abraham
Meanwhile, Villa striker Tammy Abraham has revealed what he has been working on his game with assistant manager John Terry.
Abraham, who joined the Villans from Premier League side Chelsea in the summer transfer window, has scored 11 goals and provided one assist in14 Championship appearances for the Villans so far this season, according to WhoScored.
“I have been working with John Terry on heading and it paid off,” Abraham told The Birmingham Mail.
