Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s side beat Leeds United 3-0 on Sunday.

Ian Holloway has hailed Queens Park Rangers’ performance in the win over Leeds United, speaking to Sky Sports.
Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s side kicked off their Championship campaign on Sunday as they hosted Leeds at Loftus Road.
They started in fine fashion too with goals from Nedum Onouha, Tjaronn Chery and Sebastian Polter seeing them to a comfortable 3-0 victory.

They were the better side throughout as they dominated across the park and limited their opponents to just a handful of half chances.
Holloway was impressed by the performance, saying he believes his former side were better in every aspect.
“QPR were the better team today in all aspects of the pitch,” he told Sky Sports.
They looked coordinated and that they knew their jobs. I was very impressed with them. There was a good balance. Chery looked a good player where at times last year he didn’t.”

It now remains to be seen what sort of season QPR can have after this impressive start.
The club has changed their approach in the summer transfer market, targeting more low-key signings with Championship experience rather than the big money moves of the past.
There is not a lot of expectation upon them but some have suggested they could be dark horses in the Championship this season.
This performance hinted that that may be a wise call and if it is any indication of how they intend to perform, this year could be an exciting one for the club and their fans.
