Kemar Roofe scored a header for Leeds United on Saturday.

Ian Holloway has told QPR’s official website that he was disappointed with his side’s defending in Saturday’s 3-1 defeat by Leeds United at Loftus Road.
Kemar Roofe rose above a couple of QPR defenders to nod Leeds into a 1-0 lead on 63 minutes, before going on to hit two more and grab his first Championship hat-trick as a Whites player.
But it was the manner of his first goal which irked Holloway, who told the club’s official website that the United attacker doesn’t usually “win a header in the box like that”.

“We didn’t need half-time, because we were the team in the ascendancy at that point,” he said. “A five minute spell in the second half cost us though.
“We didn’t defend the first goal well. Roofe rarely wins a header in the box like that.”
Roofe admitted himself to LUTV after the game that there is a misconception which exists surrounding his heading ability.

“Not many people think I can head the ball. I can always do better but I showed I can do it. My goals were from very good build-up. I just had to be in the right place at the right time and execute the finish.”
The former Oxford United man, a £3 million signing under Garry Monk 18 months ago, has netted 13 goals for Leeds in all competitions and four of those came via his head.
