Queens Park Rangers beat Nottingham Forest 2-0 at Loftus Road on Saturday.

Ian Holloway has revealed to West London Sport that Idrissa Sylla wanted to sit out of Queens Park Rangers’ match against Nottingham Forest last weekend due to injury.
Sylla had picked up a knock in QPR training during the week, and did not want to risk featuring against Forest.
Holloway felt that the target man was fit enough for a place on the substitutes’ bench though.
And he said: “Sylla said he wasn’t fit. I had to say ‘Come on, you’re only 80% but come on get on the bench’.

“It’s a realisation that we have to do something. This group is too fragile because of the changes made. There’s no stability.”
Holloway has been critical of Sylla during his time in charge at Loftus Road, and the target man’s future could come into question in the coming months.
QPR are likely to make a number of changes in the summer transfer window, after what has been a highly disappointing season.

Rangers have been stuck at the wrong end of the Championship table for much of the season but, even without Sylla, they were able to beat Nottingham Forest and confirm their safety.
QPR ran out 2-0 winners over Mark Warburton’s men, to end their run of six straight defeats.
