Derby got the better of West Brom 3-1 at the Pride Park Stadium to finish sixth in the Championship table this season.
This means that Frank Lampard’s side will take on Leeds in the Championship playoff semi-finals.
The West Yorkshire outfit have finished third in the standings this campaign after missing out on automatic promotion to the Premier League.
Former Leeds star Harte has praised Derby on Twitter, and has said that the Whites have to be at their best to get the better of the Rams.
Stepping up
Leeds have ended the ‘regular’ Championship season with a 3-2 defeat to Ipswich Town.
The Whites have not been great in recent weeks, and it is clear that Marcelo Bielsa’s side need to step up against Derby.
Both Leeds and Derby play good, attacking football, and the two-legged affair will have a few goals for sure.
