The former Leeds star believes that Harrison has improved since last season, and has suggested that the Whites could decide to make his loan deal permanent.
The 23-year-old, who can also operate as an attacking midfielder, returned to the Whites on a season-long loan deal from Premier League outfit City in the summer of 2019.
The Englishman spent the 2018-19 campaign on loan at the West Yorkshire outfit as well.
Harte told Football League World about Harrison: “I must be honest, I think he’s done a hell of a lot better this season.”
“Last season he was very, very frustrating, he was hot and cold. He’s a player that has improved.
“I’m not sure what the structure is (of the deal) and how much Leeds would have to buy him for if they’re going to keep him, but there’s one or two more players at the club on loan that they will want to keep. He’s done well.”

According to WhoScored, Harrison has made 37 appearances in the Championship for Leeds so far this season, scoring five goals and providing seven assists in the process.
The winger made 34 starts and five substitute appearances in the league for Marcelo Bielsa’s side last season, scoring four goals and providing three assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
Leeds are at the top of the Championship table at the moment, and they will be determined to clinch automatic promotion to the Premier League when the season gets back underway.
