Jack Clarke is a professional footballer now after signing his first Leeds United contract.

Ian Harte was the picture of delight as he posed for a photograph with his client and latest Leeds United professional Jack Clarke.
Clarke, who turned 17 today, became the latest Thorp Arch prospect to sign professional terms with Leeds after excellent form for the Under-18 and Under-23 outfit.
He will be hoping eventually to follow the likes of Ronaldo Vieira and Kalvin Phillips into the senior set-up, and United legend Harte feels confident that his client can make the grade after claiming on Twitter that the youngster has a “big future”.
It seems like this was always going to be a matter of time.

Clarke has managed a superb nine goals from seven starts with the Under-18 side so far this season and, according to Radio Yorkshire, he has been training with the senior side, under the watchful eye of Leeds head coach Thomas Christiansen recently.
There is little to no chance of seeing him in Christiansen’s matchday squad any time soon, but the mere fact that he is training with the big boys is evidence of his big talent and United fans should be exicted.
