Leeds United hero Ian Harte has taken to Twitter to celebrate the club’s superb 3-2 win away at Norwich City, with former midfielder Andy Couzens also reacting to the result.

The Whites went to East Anglia in high spirits having won their previous two Championship games, and with Norwich coming off the back of two straight defeats against Preston North End and then a 5-0 defeat at Brighton and Hove Albion.

When Robbie Brady gave Norwich a first-half lead, it looked like Alex Neil was on course for a much-needed win, but Leeds hit back in the second half as Pontus Jansson equalised, and Chris Wood put Garry Monk’s men in front for the first time in the game.

Kyle Lafferty’s 88th minute goal looked to have rescued a point for Norwich, but Leeds conjured up an injury time winner as Ronaldo Vieira’s long-range shot won the game in dramatic fashion.

Leeds are now up into sixth place in the Championship table, meaning they currently occupy one of the four play-off spots – something the Whites will hope to keep hold of.

It’s now just one defeat in six league games for Leeds, who are starting to look like a very impressive outfit under Garry Monk – and two former Leeds players took to Twitter to react to the result.

Leeds hero Ian Harte celebrated a superb result for the ‘mighty Whites’, telling his former club to keep up their excellent recent form as they pursue a long overdue return to the Premier League.

Former midfielder Andy Couzens also sent a message to fans after the final whistle, posting a picture of the league table, showing Leeds in the top six of the Championship.
