Ian Harte has congratulated Leeds United duo Liam Cooper and Kalvin Phillips on Twitter.

The Leeds captain Cooper and midfielder Phillips were named in the Championship’s Team of the Year on Tuesday.

This comes on the back of a brilliant campaign individually and collectively, with the Whites, who sit third in the table, pushing for Premier League promotion.

Here’s how Harte reacted to the news:

Leeds fans expressed their shock on Twitter last night over Pablo Hernandez missing the cut.

The Spanish playmaker has 10 goals and 11 assists in 29 Championship outings this season, but was not deemed good enough for the XI.

Marcelo Bielsa also missed out on Manager of the Year, which was won by Sheffield United’s Chris Wilder, whose side are one point ahead of Leeds in second.

Bielsa’s side resume the domestic calendar this Saturday with a visit of Millwall. If United win and the Blades drop points at home to Bristol City, the Elland Road club will leapfrog them into the final automatic promotion place with seven games to play.
