Leeds’ Under-18 side could be just one win away from winning the Professional Development League.

Leeds United icon Ian Harte has congratulated the Whites Under-18 side after they secured a play-off position in the Professional Development League with a 3-0 win over Ipswich Town on Monday.
Goals from Theo Hudson, Nohan Kenneh and Niall Huggins gave Leeds an easy win to book the Whites in the play-offs of the division, but they could still win the league itself.

Manager Mark Jackson has seen his side improve after owner Andrea Radrizzani has brought in a number of young stars from the Football League throughout the season. The likes of Jordan Stevens and Ryan Edmondson have featured for the Under-18s.
Harte, who was a renowned as a set-piece specialist during his playing days and is now an agent to players such as Tyler Denton, posted on Twitter in congratulatory fashion.
Leeds’ youngsters could still win the league on Saturday, as they face table-toppers Bolton. Though the latter have a game in hand, a win over Bolton would see Leeds leapfrog Wanderers and lead up to a nervy last fixture for the Lancashire-based side.
At a senior level, it has not been anywhere near as successful for Paul Heckingbottom’s side who have now won just twice in 20 games. They face Yorkshire rivals Barnsley on Saturday, Heckingbottom’s former club.
