Former Leeds United star Ian Harte has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Sheffield United’s win against Ipswich Town on Saturday evening.

United have got the better of Ipswich 2-0 at Bramall Lane, thanks to goals from Scott Hogan and Jack O’Connell.

The result means that the Blades are at the top of the Championship table at the moment with 88 points from 45 matches.

Chris Wilder’s side are six points clear of Leeds, who are currently third in the standings and have a game in hand.

United have a much superior goal difference, and it is hard to see Leeds scoring a lot of goals in their final two league games of the season.

Former Leeds left-back Harte has taken to Twitter to congratulate the Blades on virtually clinching automatic promotion to the Premier League.

Former Leeds and United midfielder Vinnie Jones has revelled in the success for Wilder’s team on Twitter, and has said that he will be backing Marcelo Bielsa’s side against Aston Villa in the Championship on Sunday.
