Darren Bent has said on talkSPORT (5:11pm, July 28, 2022) that he does not want Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo at Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.
The Arsenal-supporting former Tottenham Hotspur striker believes that Ronaldo would not fit in with the style that Arsenal play under Arteta now.
Ronaldo wants to leave Manchester United in the summer transfer window, according to The Times.

Bent said on talkSPORT (5:11pm, July 28, 2022) when asked if he would take Ronaldo at Arsenal: “No. The way Arsenal are moving forward, the way that Arteta likes to play, front foot, high energy, no, I wouldn’t take him.”
Making Gunners better
In our view, Cristiano Ronaldo would make Arsenal better and would be an asset for manager Mikel Arteta.
Yes, Ronaldo is ‘just’ a ‘goalscorer’ now and is not as mobile as Gabriel Jesus, but he is one of the greatest players of all time who is still going strong.
The 37-year-old scored 18 goals in the Premier League last season, one more than Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.
Of course, Ronaldo’s wages are huge, and we do not think that Arsenal would be able to willing to pay him what he is earning at United.

United themselves would not be open to selling Ronaldo to Arsenal.
However, if Ronaldo were to move to Arsenal, then we think that he would make the Gunners better and more potent in attack.
