Speaking to FootballJoe, Paul Pogba has named Liverpool’s stadium, Anfield, as the joint-most hostile ground he’s ever played at.
Pogba has played in some of the best stadiums in the world in front of some of the most passionate supporters on the planet, but according to the Frenchman, Anfield and Borussia Dortmund’s Westfalenstadion are the two scariest stadiums to play at.
What’s been said?
Pogba was asked about which grounds were the most hostile to play in.
“What is the most hostile and aggressive atmosphere you have ever played in?” The host asked.
“I think there is two, you mean like a stadium right? I would say Liverpool and Anfield, and Borussia Dortmund,” Pogba said.

Not surprising
Many who head to Anfield speak about how much they enjoy playing in front of such a passionate crowd, and to be honest, the Liverpool crowd can be quite friendly.
However, Pogba’s experience at Anfield is as a Manchester United player, and with that rivalry being one of the most heated in England, it’s no surprise to hear that the midfielder believes Anfield to be a hostile stadium.
Unfortunately for Pogba, he has to head to Anfield again before the end of the season, and given the Reds’ recent home form, it’s hard to imagine that he will enjoy this trip to Merseyside.
