Jamie O’Hara has told TalkSPORT that he would be happy if Arsene Wenger got the Tottenham Hotspur job.
O’Hara suggested that he was shocked that Everton fans were so against the idea of Rafael Benitez coming in, due to his connections with Liverpool.
An Everton fan then asked O’Hara how he would feel if former Arsenal boss Wenger was to take over at Tottenham.
But the ex-Spurs midfielder had a rather unexpected reaction to the suggestion.
“I would have Arsene Wenger at Spurs. We can’t get anyone anyway, so get me Arsene Wenger and I’d take it,” O’Hara said.
The impossible appointment
On his credentials, Wenger may well be an appealing option for Tottenham.

But there is no chance that the veteran French boss would be a manager who Spurs would consider.
After all the controversy of their managerial search so far, there last thing Spurs need is to target an Arsenal legend.
Tottenham must find a new manager sooner rather than later, though.
Spurs have now been without a manager in place for over two months since Jose Mourinho left, and the club seem to have very little plan over who they want as their next boss.
